The Stanford South Asian Translational Heart Initiative (SSATHI) is a Cardiology clinic dedicated to risk factor screening and clinical treatment for heart disease in people of Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Nepalese, Bhutanese, Maldivian, and Sri Lankan descent.  The SSATHI Clinic and Research program is actively recruiting young South Asians between the ages of 20-60, but welcomes patients of all ages to be seen, evaluated, and treated.  

With an integrative medical, dietary, and lifestyle approach, SSATHI’s 6 month program will lower your risk of heart disease to its lowest possible levels, while also serving as your companion, or ‘saathi’, to a healthy heart for life.

In addition to the comprehensive clinical risk assessment, SSATHI patients may also participate in the SSATHI research program, through which additional heart testing and genetic risk evaluation is performed free of charge.
